Can humans hear a dog whistle?
I don’t actually hear a noise but have an awlful buzzing sensation in my ears when some one is blowing one near me. I have even had people do it when I didn’t know they were and have “felt” or “heard” it. Hunting season around here is awlful when the bird hunters are calling thier dogs back in this area with whistles becuase they give me an awlful headache after a while. Is this possible? If not then what is happening? It has happened so many times that most people here believe that I am hearing it. I have lots of witnesses.
Yes humans can hear a dog whistle, my boyfriend can actually hear the whistle also and it drives him nuts. Doctors think that him and his mom were crazy until they proved it, then the doc believed them. The whistle does send out a really high pitched sound that most people cant hear but I guess that if your ears are sensitive enough you can hear it. so no you are not crazy.
