boar bristle hairbrush, do i need large or extra large brush?
i have medium to thin hair and am wanting to grow it very long, it is currently nipple level. I want to buy a brush to help me stimulate my scalp, do i need an extra large boar bristle brush or a large brush? i have relatively straight hair. what length and type of hair are large boar bristle and extra large brushes for? also what differences do the oval shaped brushes and the flat rectangular shaped brushes have on hair? thanks
Boar bristles are natural thus stimulate the oils in the scalp(sebum). If your hair is oil prone a natural bristle may not be right for you.
Round brushes are used to create volume
the bigger brushes are used on longer hair (LG vs EXL)
However you tend to have better control with a smaller size.
I prefer lg- basically it is suited to what you are comfortable with
Flat brushes whether shaped oval or rectangular are used to create smooth results
