We have... to date ... achieved the following awards at Crufts..

CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE / RESERVE CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE / BEST PUPPY IN BREED / INNUMERABLE 1ST PRIZES / BEST VETERAN DOG

Crufts has always been quite a lucky show for us, although not a personal favorite of mine, all of our dogs seem to do well, and show especially well here.  Whether its the green carpet or the prestige of where we are, Crufts has certainly been successful for us !

As most people who show at Crufts know, its luck of the draw, after all it is Crufts and qualifying for the event is a win, so anything on top of that is a bonus !  Over the years, the allowance of overseas dogs to compete has made competition more fierce, and whilst it is not so popular in the Boxers, the presence of foreign Newfoundland's certainly makes it more interesting and it is an honor to see some of these beautiful dogs in the flesh !

Our first Crufts winner was the boxer Zac, winning the Special Junior Class under breed specialist Lesley Boyle.  I think shocked wasn't in it - especially as to who was in the class with him.  I think we floated back from Crufts that day.

It was Zac who had the next big win - Crufts 2001, Philip Greenway awarded him 2nd place in Open behind the lovely Ch Bucksteps Charlie Brown, 'Charlie' was awarded the CC and Zac was called back in for the reserve.  He fought off stiff competition to be awarded the RCC !

Rhys, was then to carry on the success, winning a lovely Limit Class (this was his first Limit Class), and obtaining his stud book number - under judge Gert Nielson.  He was strongly considered for the RCC on the day too.  To end this exciting Crufts, Michelle handled Quista (now Ch Trinityfair Quista Quay) to her first CC - what a fantastic day !

Zac returned back to the ring as a veteran and won a star studded Veteran Dog class under judge Mary Foan, this was one of the last times Zac was ever shown, and it was special as it was one of the few times Michelle showed him.

Cooper was our next success, winning his first Limit class here too, this time under judge Jean Lanning.

In 2006, we took (Newfie) Zac, being our first dog to be young enough to compete in the Puppy class at Crufts it was always going to be special.  He put in a fantastic performance winning the Special Puppy Class then ended the day as Best Puppy in Breed at Crufts - another day we will never forget ! This win qualifies Zac for the American Kennel Club / Eukanuba National Championships to be held in Long Beach, California in December 2006 and December 2007.  This is quite an achievement especially for a puppy - again we are justifiably proud !

As luck would have it, once again at Crufts 2007 Mobox has come home as a class winner, this time we only took Zac who won a star studded Yearling class ! To me this dog is something special and he put in an absolutely flawless performance and added one or two more admirers to his ever growing list !  As one professional handler once said.... you know when you get your hands on a good 'un, and with Zac you just know !

In 2008, we took Zac to Crufts again - this time he came home with 2nd place in Mid-Limit Dog, which was a truly quality class with some very good (and successful) exhibits leaving card less.  As usual we had a wonderful day.

Our utmost thanks to all the judges concerned, in both breeds, winning any placing at Crufts is always special but having won classes for the last five years in a row we think our success speaks for itself !
